Sean Liao

Gradutated from Taipei National Universaty of the Arts, IMPACT (Interdisciplinary Multimedia Performing Arts Collaborative Technology ) music program. Dating back to high school, Sean’s music interest evolved when he joined the wind band in his school. He played tenor saxophone and served as the band conductor. In the senior year, he began learning guitar and singing professionally with friends part time at folk song-themed restaurants. During his college years, Sean formed a pop band and performed in pubs. While fulfilling his compulsory military service, he played tenor saxophone and electric guitar for the military band of the MND’s Combined Logistics Command. 

After discharged from military service, he quitted his job as an engineer and launched into a career of full-time musicians. Since then, Sean has acquired extensive experiences performing in places such as mainland China (including Macau), Japan, Malaysia and Singapore. Besides live performances, Liao has been committed to learning music arrangements and recording, as well as Jazz music. He is passionate about Fusion Jazz and never tires of improving his knowledge and skills in this art. Liao is currently an endorser of DeerRidge Guitar.
